CHAPTER 7- AN ENEMY RISES

As the two monsters seemed to rejoice at the sight of their mother reviving, our heroes were paralyzed with horror, if one of these things was able to destroy a guarded facility as small as 20 feet tall, what would one that is several kilometers tall do? But as they looked up at the monster, a voice called from behind the broken cave wall "Hey, you two" said the mysterious voice, "If your wish is to save the world, come with me" they said again, John and Emma now had nothing to lose, as they had already lost it all, and when running behind the Black Hooded figure, their minds flew: Now they knew it all, there never was a "Megahorn" The bones at the sacrifice fire were from their friend´s, and they were used to complete these monster´s plans to destroy humanity. "We´re here, rest now, We have around 10 minutes until the beast rises, and then, we will be ready," said the figure as it lifted a titanic rock, and beneath it, seemed to be a base of sorts. The figure showed the two confused teenagers around its base, and when they got to a wall completely filled with monitors showing numerous stats about the monster beneath the ground, their confusion only got worse. "Oh... seems you don´t have a clue what´s going on here, do you? My name is RECON UNIT #2015, and I was sent here to investigate strangely high levels of radiation and magnetism and other stuff coming from this area, I tried to send Genesect units to try and see from a safe distance, but they were destroyed by those things so I took the matters into my own hands and investigated directly, and found out about the plan to revive that Kaiju thing, but I kind of forgot the time it was gonna happen and was almost late to save you, luckily I did!" explained the cloaked figure, "Cool, but how in hell are we gonna defeat that thing?! it is literally a billion times bigger and stronger than us three combined!" said John, visibly scared. "No worries, I have everything planned out, I ordered a pair of Titans for you and my Skymax is about to arrive" responded the mysterious person, "I think he uses drugs, Emma, let's get out of here" said John, "Ok, he may be a little wacky, but this man lifted a three-ton rock, what if he can actually summon things out of thin air too?" said Emma, upset, "And he´s our only chance at saving the world" she tried to continue, however, their talk would soon be interrupted, as what seemed to be space shuttle with the words SKYMAX  WEAPONS CAPSULE written on bright red letters suddenly crashed on the cave, and the man on the cloak ripped his cape off, revealing that his entire body was metallic, when he was about three meters away from the capsule, it opened its hatches upwards, revealing a wide array of rifles, handguns, swords, and a small pill-looking artifact. The Metal Man quickly grabbed everything and strapped it to his body, and helped the two Teenagers decide on a handgun to grab, John grabbed the "Basic Sawed-Off Shotgun" and Emma grabbed the "Recoil proof laser handgun", as they walked outside, two, bulky-looking robot armors fell from the sky, and after a quick tutorial on how to pilot them and activate and deactivate flight mode, the earth began to rumble, and the two Emergency Certified Titan Pilots climbed on their suits, they were supposed to hear "Welcome aboard captain, all systems online" as the suit recognized them inside, but instead, they only heard rocks fall and trees break, as the monstrous Speaker-Headed best arouse from the very heart of the earth, and as they clenched their weapons firmly between their fingers, they knew that if this plan failed, the world would be destroyed, and humanity would go extinct.

The Weight of the Clouds | Episode 2

The simulator tower loomed over the training grounds, the smooth, black surface reflecting the sunlight like polished obsidian. For most recruits, the simulator was a symbol of hope, the final step before earning a place on the Monster Control Crew. But to Damian, the sight was like gazing towards a towering giant, challenging him to a duel. Today, he felt its shadow more than ever. A brisk wind swept through the courtyard, carrying the faint hum of machinery from the tower’s core. Recruits crowded around the platform at its base, each clutching their weapons and murmuring nervously. The tension was thick enough to cut with a spear.   Recruits were slowly approaching the machine, whispering about their expectations, making bets about who would pass and who would not. Everyone looked nervous, except for Tsuyo, the bunny girl looked excited as always, a bright smile on her face. Damian was blankly staring forward,  “Don’t overthink it, Damian. We’ve got this.” His best friend ha...

Division 12: Neo Tokyo - Chapter 1 [Demo, please leave your opinion in the comments, will be completed if feedback is positive]

Things were a lot different in Tokyo these days. Or at least, that's what everyone was thinking, with the rising levels in Yo-Kai activity in the last few months. The Yo-Kai Control Crew had spent countless nights pursuing and killing the malevolent spirits, and their Danger Level had only been escalating exponentially, from a Level 2 in January to a Level 4 in late March. Things were not going well, and thus they started a program that hadn't been seen in action since the Great Invasion almost twelve years prior. The Yo-Kai Control Officer Trials were once again in motion, and every single school in Tokyo was preparing their students to have a chance, as slim as it was, to have the honor of becoming the next generation of heroes. Every kid trained their Gift, their special ability every human obtains at birth from the Sun Goddess Amaterasu. Everyone wanted to be THE next great hero that others could look up to. And no one wanted that title more than Yamaoka Masumi and Kanai Ma...

Like Fish out of Water | Chapter 1

As the quiet stillness of the countryside crescendoed into the usual lively sounds of the city, a small white pick-up truck cruised the highway full of the belongings of the Kurusu siblings, the two shiba inus were making their way to the Aokabe city to begin an exciting new life together. At the wheel was Hiro Kurusu, the older of the two, his grip was firm and his expression slightly nervous, occasionally shifting his gaze toward the young girl on the passenger seat to his left: Haru Kurusu, his little sister, who was not a day over eighteen by that point, she was fast asleep with her head against the window, her paws tightly grasping a small plush doll resembling a cat. The long asphalt street eventually led the truck into the heart of the city, the loud and busy streets were unlike anything Hiro had ever seen. Struggling to remember the long list of traffic laws that he had meticulously studied for a week, he drove around like lost puppy looking for his mother, trying (and fa...
